David Murphy

David graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2014 with a Masters in Physiotherapy. Following this, he spent time working in professional football in England gaining valuable experience working at Championship side Reading FC and League 1 side Colchester United FC. David has progressed his sporting experience working in High Performance which included working with Team GB athletes over a number of disciplines including gymnastics, sailing, boxing, track and field, basketball and cross country skiing.

Whilst in the UK, David continued to progress and develop his Physiotherapy skills through additional courses including Western Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Level 1 NAGS & SNAGS and chronic pain management and biomechanics.

David is currently the Lead Physiotherapist for Louth Ladies Senior Football and has a strong interest in sport, chronic pain, strength & conditioning and recovery techniques. David enjoys taking part in all sports including rugby, football and golf. Currently, he is training for his first triathlon which he is finding highly rewarding.
