Aaron graduated in 2011 with a BSc in Exercise Science from Seattle Pacific University (USA). After a few years of experience in the field, he moved to this side of the pond to further his education, and in 2017, obtained an MSc degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham (UK).
His thesis on physiotherapists’ communication within mental health services received the highest honours, and has been submitted for publication.
Aaron has experience in all core physiotherapy disciplines (musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardio-respiratory) across both acute hospital settings and private practices. He last worked in intermediate care rehabilitation within the NHS in London, before moving to Dublin.
He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), with a strong background in personal training, biomechanics, and movement analysis. He also continuously develops his physiotherapy skills, and most recently completed trainings in Pilates and Balance Neuro-retraining.
Aaron was a competitive soccer player, and has always had a personal interest in sports, injury rehabilitation, and performance.
Outside the clinical setting, Aaron enjoys spending time traveling, hiking, playing soccer, and being outdoors!
